Within the status tab you see general information of a specific object: eg

• who created the object?
• who has last modified the object?
• who released the object?
• which object type is it?
• is it a multilingual object?
• ...

You can also decide to release or put offline an object automatically on a specific date. This means that you can already prepare a press release within WebEngine and than make it 'Active on xx/xx/xxxx', then everybody can see the press release online on xx/xx/xxxx.

Desactivate in ...
You don't need to see every object you put in WebEngine into the menu or in the sitemap.
Eg. a 'Thank you for your interest' page behind a form.
Here you can say 'Yes' to desactivate an object for the public.
