The pages of the website can be edited using the Check In/Check Out process. This alows a user to edit the page with an internal or external HTML editor.
- We find the Check In/Check Out buttons on top of the interface. Of course the Check In button is disabled when a page is not in the Check Out process.

- Users can decide thru their profile if they use an internal or external editor. The internal editor simply integrates into the WebEngine interface and a user can immediately start editing the pages in a basic manner. The page wich is in "edit" mode also gets a red dot in the navigation tree. Moreover, a page can never be edited by 2 people at the same time to avoid "double" editing

- If a user chooses to use an external editor, first a Windows box will pop-up to ask for verification. This pop-up is a standard security measure.
- After the user gave his approval to start an external program, the appropriate pages will open in the external editor. A simple click on the Check In button re-integrates the edited page back into the WebEngine.
